I’m located at Suddenlink’s corporate headquarters and report directly to the company’s CEO. I’d like to work with my colleagues to address the issues you’re experiencing and hopefully increase your satisfaction with our services.

To get started, can you confirm if Charles Evans is the name listed on the account – and let me know the city/state where you receive Suddenlink service, as well as the best phone number at which we can reach you?

You can email that information to me, if you prefer: pete-DOT-abel-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com.

To help verify I am who I say I am, you can check these online sources …

To access the second of those sources, you may need to be a registered user of the DSLReports.com forum. If I remember correctly, you can join that forum for no charge.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Mr. Abel,

My roomate and I have Suddenlink TV/Internet here in White Oak, Texas. We are currently paying for the 10mb service… but most of the time we only get 1/4 of what we are paying for. I have no problems with the channels. But the internet speeds are hit and miss. I have been on Speedtest.net and my tests are from .98mb-4.5mb. Clearly less than half of what i am paying for. The local Suddenlink location is located in Gladewater, Texas. I have talked to tech support and had tech come out before at my previous address… having the same issues of course, but no resolution. This not only happens during peak hours but late at night/early morning when traffic is low. I hope to hear from you on regards to this matter. I have been a loyal customer since this company was Cox Comm.

We have had all kinds of trouble with Suddenlink and while the phone staff appears to be very helpful they can only do so much. I am tired of all the little problems we are so frequently having and I wish someone would step up and do something.

I still have not resolved the Sudden link issue. We still use the service until something better is available. Clear wireless service is okay and might be the answer when they get their up grades done. I get fair download speeds however not the 6 megs I am supposed to get. I get from 1.1 to 2.5 megs. The upload speed is supposed to be 1 meg but usually is 150 to 200 k. It looks like high
speed internet is going to be a problem for quite some time for many folks. I think that this is due to a funding issue and the economy in general, and too much money is being taken out for overhead and not enough invested in new equipment.
    Thanks,
    Bud
